Buildify Engineering Hub is a suite of tools designed to help system integrators organize, structure and document KNX projects before configuration in ETS.

In complex projects where devices, functions and Group Addresses grow rapidly, maintaining order becomes essential to reduce errors and speed up the engineering process.

Buildify Engineering Hub introduces a structured method to organize the entire project: devices, functions, floor plans, electrical panels and integration protocols.

Buildify Tag System

Smart Group Addresses for ETS

At the core of the platform is the Buildify Tag System, a method that defines project functions through function TAGs.

Each TAG represents a complete package of Group Addresses, already structured with the most common functions such as:

Feedback

Control commands

This approach allows system integrators to generate hundreds of Group Addresses in seconds, ready to be imported into ETS.

Each Group Address row also includes valuable information such as:

building

floor

room

associated devices

device physical addresses

channel numbers

This makes the project much easier to understand and manage over time.

Device Tool

Project device management

The Device Tool allows system integrators to create and manage the project device library.

Devices can be:

manually created

imported via XLSX files

imported from different manufacturers price lists.

During this phase the following parameters are defined:

This allows the project device structure to be quickly created.

Config Tool

The control center of the KNX project

The Config Tool is the central hub of the design process.

Here the entire project structure is organized:

importing floor plans with layers and placing devices within the installation.

DIN Config

Universal Protocol Builder

Integration of external protocols

Universal Protocol Builder allows variables from different communication protocols to be integrated.

Variables can be:

imported via XLSX templates

automatically generated using bulk generation tools.

The system processes these variables and generates Group Addresses ready for ETS.

Buildify Engineering Hub

Buildify Engineering Hub is a digital technical support tool designed to facilitate and structure the creation of KNX group addresses within the ETS environment, supporting design and configuration activities.

The tool enables the generation of group address structures based on project floor plans and user-defined functional TAGs, without any prescriptive or binding value.

Scope of use

The product is intended exclusively for KNX professionals (installers, designers, system integrators, energy managers) holding a VAT number.

The tool:

does not replace ETS;

is not certified design software;

does not guarantee the correctness of generated addresses;

does not replace the technical, regulatory, and functional verification of the KNX project.

Final responsibility for the project always remains with the professional.
